We are the Barony of Windhaven, a group in the Kingdom of Northshield, part of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. In the real world, northeast Wisconsin, including Oshkosh, Appleton, New London, Green Bay, Shawano, and points north. Windhaven holds Winnebago,Calumet, Waupaca, Outagamie, Brown, Kewaunee, Door, Shawano, Menominee, Oconto, Marinette, Forest, and 
Florence counties in Wisconsin. Society members in these counties are automatically part of the Barony of Windhaven.


The Society for Creative Anachronism is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our “Known World” consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more. If you are new to the SCA or the Barony of Windhaven, please contact the Chatelaine. It is the job of the Chatelaine to welcome all new members and help answer any questions you may have.
